We are looking for flexible, patient tutors during the school year and over the summer. Because of their transient upbringings, many Starting Right, Now youth have missed significant periods of schooling. SRN facilitates work on Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and/or credit recovery to make up missing credits. After school at SRN’s life skills center, SRN youth in high school can work one-on-one with a tutor. SRN youth in college can also request virtual or in-person tutoring.
Prospective tutors must be a high school graduate, currently in college or a college graduate. Useful subjects are Geometry, Algebra, Spanish, and/or various sciences.
