Join SRN for a two day conference! Learn best practices for supporting unaccompanied homeless youth in your community and possibly become an Affiliate Program.

With the launch of Vicki’s book, If You See Them: Young, Unhoused, and Alone in America, SRN is receiving emails requesting we open our program in other communities. In order to maintain our outcomes as they currently are in Hillsborough and Pinellas, we want to expand in a manner that distributes our proprietary methods and techniques without us at the helm of the operations. So, we have developed an Affiliate Program.

Nonprofits in other counties who would like to become an affiliate must attend an in-person conference to view the houses and training center set-up and understand a high-level view of our operation. Participants will leave the conference with a list of non-negotiables to acquire in order to become an Affiliate.

CONFERENCE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 10 ORGANIZATIONS (20 PEOPLE)

Conference includes:

• Tour of the SRN houses and office
• Hear SRN youth speak on how the program helped them and where they are in their careers
• Learn about referrals, social services, academics, life-skills curriculum, mentors, and staff
• Hear from local officials and SRN board members on the impact the program has on the community
• Hear about raising funds, securing housing from local government (public/private partnerships), and advocating for laws
• Workshop and collaborate with other cities in break-out sessions
• Meet our founder, Vicki Sokolik, and hear how you can make this a reality in your community
• Leave with information on next steps to become an Affiliate

$5,000 per ticket
One ticket is good for two registered attendees
Includes breakfast for both days, lunch for both days and dinner the first evening
(does not include hotel or airfare)

Registration & Lunch 12:00 – 12:30pm on Monday, September 23
The conference will begin promptly at 12:30pm, we will board a bus to tour our properties.
In addition to touring properties, Monday, September 23 includes dinner with an alumni sharing their story. Monday will run until 9:30pm.

Breakfast begins at 8:00am Tuesday, September 24. Tuesday will run promptly 9:00am – 5:30pm, with ample breaks including lunch (12:00 – 1:00pm). You may check out Wednesday, September 25 if that is most convenient.
